Dippy Eggs

One of my favorite memories from my childhood is eating dippy eggs. My grandma used to make me dippy eggs and cut toast into "fingers" which were just right for dipping. A few weeks ago, I made Ivan his very first dippy egg. We do not have these often as daddy does not like them and I was not able to have them while I was pregnant, so this was a special treat for both of us.

I was so happy to teach Ivan the proper way to eat his egg. First you dip you toast in the dippy until it is almost gone and then you smash up the egg, mixing the remaining dippy with the rest of the egg. You finish by putting this mixture on toast. I was very pleased to find out that he did enjoy his egg. I figured he would like it considering he was able to dip something! I am hoping we can create some great memories much like the ones I had growing up.
