 Ivan is loving his new scooter.  To Mike's disappointment, he does not have a lot of interest in his bike-he just cannot get the hang of the pedals yet.  So, he would much rather use his scooter for now. 

 We bought this scooter for Ivan, but I am pretty sure that Everett has claimed it as his own!

 This is how Ivan came outside to play-PJ's on and two different shoes!

 Mid August, we had a family weekend.  Mike's family came from Shelby, Cincinnati and Chicago for the weekend.  We enjoyed lollipops, rockets, drinks and lots of outdoor play.  Poor little Everett was not quite himself as he had a bit of a stomach bug all weekend.  He sure was a trooper though!

 Everett is exploring every inch of the house right now.  He wants to do exactly what everyone else is doing, especially Ivan!  He can usually be found in the Kitchen following one of us around and begging do what we are doing or eat what we are eating.  The one toy that we have found that will hold his interest is his stacking cups.  He loves to build them up and knock them down over and over.  Unfortunately, he usually needs a little help with this, so parental guidance is still needed ;)

Family Photos

We also had family photos taken in July by a local photographer.  Here are just a few of our favorites.  We will be heading to OSU next Sunday to for another round of family photos.  Our hope is to have this done near each boy's birthday so that we have photos every 6 months. 

WE'RE BACK!!!!

We enjoyed many days filled with water play in the backyard. Ivan's friend Miles joined us for a few days of fun as well. We went to Shelby to enjoy the annual Bicyle Day's parade. Ivan loved watching the parade and really loved the candy that was thrown!

Vanilla waffer-almost as good as candy.Someone got a little messy while he was eating and how could we resist taking photos of that crazy hair??

He might have been left in the highchair a bit too long, but at least he found ways to entertain himself!

We finally bought and built the play set that we promised Ivan last year. The boys had lots of fun on it this summer. Everett would sit in the baby swing for hours if we would let him and Ivan loved exploring every inch of it. He even requested a special telescope which daddy gladly bought and installed! Daddy would buy anything that encourages him to use his imagination!

We spent as much time as we could at Grandma's house so that the boys could swim and play. They boys absolutely love spending time playing with all of the toys on the back porch.

We have been very busy this summer and I let the blog go once again. I am hoping to try to get caught up, but as you can see I am very far behind this time. This post is just our adventures in July. We had many photos, but I tried to narrow it down as much as I could.
