September

 Daddy and the boys made Mommy's birthday very special by making a very chocolaty cake-Mommy's favorite!!!

 We spent some time playing at the park

 Ivan played with his favorite toys-Dinosaurs!

 We went to the zoo.  Everett LOVED the aquarium while Ivan enjoyed the Polar Bears and trackers out front.

 Mommy finally broke down and took Everett in for his first hair cut.  We made sure that it remained kind of long and shaggy.  Mommy is just not ready for the short boy cut yet-or for my baby to be a big boy!

And we painted!  Ivan was making hand prints for a school project and of course Everett needed to paint as well.  As you can see, we had to do a quick bath when he was finished!

September was also a big month for Ivan.  He started Preschool!  I cannot believe my baby is old enough to go to Preschool!  We took him in for his very first day at the beginning of September and were able to stay and observe.  We enjoyed sitting back and watching him play.  I am always very curious how Ivan behaves and interacts with others while we are not around, so it was nice to get a little glimpse into his life without mommy and daddy.  Ivan has become very shy over the last year, so we were hopeful that he would adjust well, and he did.  Ivan absolutely loves Preschool and we are so proud of the little boy he has become!
